But I have been so choked with anger over the local baseball club, that the best I could do was lay in my bead and cry with the lights off. By my count, thats 6 straight losses. Sad, when the division leaders are coming to town this weekend. Speaking of last nights game, it is going to be tough to score runs when you empty your bench into the lineup. Joe Dillon may be the poster boy for grit and hustle, but a #3 hitter he is most certainly not. Way to shake up the lineup Neddy Bear. On a lighter note the local news, who are the biggest water boys for the maligned manager, are finally moving to the side that has been growing pretty quickly since last year. Although, the good people at the JS dropped a bomb of knowledge on us earlier in the week with this one. No shit Sherlock. The guy who wrote that is a worse hack than the normal Brewer Guy. Next, he will Maddenise his commentary by saying things like "Now the team that scores more runs will win the game."
It looks as though Neddy Bear can no longer motivate his players with his "it is still early" mantra. When is it not early? The end of June, when at this pace, they are 10 games back? The end of July when they trade Ben Sheets at the deadline for prospects? Who knows. Go Brewers.
